  • Do you work with clients outside the CA?
    Our services are designed to serve clients worldwide. Thanks to the new regulations in the CA, we can now work with clients from multiple jurisdictions, as British courts have broadened the scope of legal tools to include foreign parties who are not within its jurisdiction. This expansion has made it easier for us to assist clients globally and offer comprehensive solutions that cater to their specific needs.
  • What kind of personal information would you need to start working on my case?
    We would only need your passport or ID copy to prepare the claim and litigate on your behalf.

    We will never ask for account information like passwords or private keys.
  • Is Goodmans LLP a registered company?
    Goodmans LLP is a fully registered CA company with a share capital of 150,000 CA$. We uphold compliance with all relevant local and international laws and regulations governing our business operations. All CA-based Goodmans LLP partners operate under the regulation of the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

    Goodmans LLP does not assist consumers with complaints concerning mis-sold investment products which have been purchased from firms regulated by the CA Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and/or the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), such as contracts for differences.
  • How do you accept payments?
    We offer diverse payment options for your convenience, including bank transfer, ACH transfer, credit card, and cryptocurrency (BTC | ETH | BNB | USDT | USDC).
  • How much is the firm consultation fee?
    Goodmans LLP extends a complimentary 30-minute consultation through our dedicated support team, accessible Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (London UTC/GMT +1). To schedule a call, an initial assessment of your case’s eligibility is required.     Should you have more intricate legal or technical inquiries, we offer the option to schedule a consultation call with one of our experienced solicitors or forensic analysts. The hourly rate for these specialised consultations is GBP 450 (+ taxes).
  • Do you charge upfront, or will you work on a contingency basis?
    We give preference to cases where clients can provide upfront compensation due to the high demand for our services and limited capacity.

    Accepting cases on a contingency-only basis is not viable from a business perspective. Every case involves substantial fixed costs, fees, and disbursements that our forensic team and solicitors need to cover.

    The preparation and completion of each case require a significant investment of time and financial resources, given the specialized tools, training, and extensive resources needed for fraud investigations. Therefore, the cost of our services accurately reflects the expertise and experience required for a thorough investigation.
  • Do you also provide assistance with other types of online fraud?
    Yes, we are specialised in cryptocurrencies and blockchain fraud, but we also work with other types of online scams, like Forex scams, phishing scams or Tax scams.
  • I know multiple individuals who were affected by a large scam or hack. Can Goodmans LLP help collectively?
    Goodmans LLP takes on clients on an individual basis and does not handle class action lawsuits. If multiple individuals have fallen victim to a similar scam, each case will be handled individually.
  • Is my privacy safe with Goodmans LLP?
    We encrypt the storage of our entire database, its associated backups and its transaction log files. This security feature involves the use of so-called “Transparent Data Encryption”. The encryption uses an industry-standard, FIPS 140-2 validated, AES-256 symmetric encryption key. This key is protected by a certificate that is rotated at least every 90 days. This approach is a requirement of many industry standards (HIPAA, PCI). It also a key technical factor for meeting our EU GDPR obligations.
  • I received an email or phone call claiming to be from Goodmans LLP. Is it legit?
    Goodmans LLP strictly refrains from sending unsolicited emails or making unsolicited phone calls. We do not reach out to individuals without their explicit request for legal or forensic services. If you did not initiate contact with us or request our services, the communication you received is not from Goodmans LLP.
